Aquilla Ida Frances Rutledge Baggett

Aquilla Ida Frances Rutledge was born on September 18, 1871 to the
Rev. William Wesley Rutledge
and Mary Louise Miller.Â
She married Rev.
William Franklin Monroe Baggett
on April 25, 1895.
On January 2, 1909 Ida died at the age of 28, perhaps giving birth to her sixth child. She is buried at
Advance Cemetery
in Lamar County, Mississippi.
During her short life, she and Rev. Baggett had six children:
William Calvin Baggett, Sr. (1897-1971)
Alma Verle Baggett (1899-1987)
Mary Frances Baggett (1902-1985)
Wilmoth Victoria (Billie) Baggett (1904-1983)
Esther Ida Baggett (1906-1977)
Infant Baggett (1909-1909)
1900 Census - Covington County, Mississippi - William and Ida with their first two children, William Calvin and Alma. The also had two boarders shown as day laborers (Edward Rutledge and Abner Lambert).
